Subject: Help! Lyric fragment madness!!!!!!!!! From: knicke knickerson Date: 04 Oct 99 - 10:28 PM Can anyone lend me assisstance? I have this fragment of a James Keelaghan song stuck in my head: "The last time I saw him/he'd been swallowed by the wood; I'd have followed if I could He'd have stayed had he wanted." THIS IS ALL I KNOW. IT'S BUGGING THE HELL OUT OF ME. I KEEP SINGING IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN. Can somebody PLEASE help me out with the lyrics, or at least direct me to a recording of this song? It's eroding my sanity! Danke, knicke knickerson |

From: Davey Date: 04 Oct 99 - 11:46 PM Knicke, the song you are looking for is called Rebecca's Lament, telling the story of a woman's love for the indian chief Tecumseh. It's on Keelaghan's 1990 recording "Small Rebellions" (Tranquilla TMCD-002). Sorry but I don't have the lyrics available. |
