Hya everyone and a Happy new year to you all especially our loyal comrades who have supported this session over the years; some like Kevin who take four buses to come from Wakefield and Nev who drives over from Doncaster, Paul and Liz Davenport who comeover from Sheffield and the countless others who we have had the pleasure of their company and their singing and playing

Unfortunately there is always some begrudging areshole who wants to spoil everything.I found out yesterday that this no mark has been spreading the rumour that this session is no longer running and no one turns up any more; this is far from the truth.

So to reasure you all who want a nice laid back session in 'ulls oldest pub and you have the luxery of having wednesday afternoon spare please come along and Lets Keep Music Live!!

Thanks Mr Flags - hope to make it on the 28th. Twas nice to see Mrs Flags at the Rackaback do on Tuesday - it meant at least 1 other person present realised that the concertina tune I was playing was the Red Flag, and not some Teutonic nonsense about Xmas trees :-)

Yes, Wednesday sess started with me,the windswept and very intresting Mr.Fromull and like minded people with time on our hands and the well known/advertised gold plated local authority pensions - not!!
Very succesfull so far,.
not a club more of a gathering in 'ulls oldest pub.

Eyup, Mr Flags! Doing very well, me auld mucker. Life in the fair Channel Islands suits me well. Giz Mrs Flags email address and I'll send you a few photies. Not playing any music at the moment - seem to have enough to keep me going without it, frankly. Just a tinkle in the living room every now and again. Weekends generally busy walking dog, doing the garden (takes some doing!), pottering around on me motorcycle, and the odd jar or two with the Mrs when we can fit it in. Sounds mundane, but I'm happy with that :o)

Hope you and Mary keeping well? Think of you all regularly. We've had a few laughs over the years. Do you realise it's a decade ago we were participating in equine pugilism? Time flies, eh?
