Woody Guthrie.org has a wealth of material on his life, his songs, etc. Although I didn't find anything specific about his tunes this web site seems like a good starting point.As you know, next year marks the 100 year anniversary of his birth, and, in addition to concerts there are all kinds of scholarly seminars planned at a variety of locations.

"Stolen" is unkind.

It was accepted practice long before Woody to use existing tunes for new songs.

Early Broadsides frequently specified the tune that the words had been set to.
