I am vaguely trying to remember a blues of the above title.

I think it might have been on the same album as one called "Fattening Frogs for Snakes".

Any clues?

It's certainly not that version that I remember. It's rather fine though.

I'm now hunting for a Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee version in case it was them I remember.

Vexingly I seem to have misplaced ALL my blues vinyl. I may have to start looking on the reel-to-reel tapes...

I also can't find my Canned Heat vinyl, or my John Mayall (but the Mayalls I know I have on tape).

They did a song entitled Dissatisfied Blues. Could that be it?

All googling of 'I am dissatisfied' brings up is Viagra sites.

Yes, in between trying to fix whatever was ailing my Hifi on Boxing day I found some of those websites too!

It might be - but I need to find the song I want on my 7 inch tapes to be sure. The trouble is I probably have 100 7 inch tapes, mostly unlabelled, and at 3 3/4 ips that's a LOT of playing time!

Well, I remember the "I am dissatisfied" line - and I half think I remember "And I'm begging you to forgive" - but that might have been from a different song! And I'm almost sure it was no the same vinyl as "Fattening Frogs for Snakes".

If you don't find the one you're wanting, an alternative that might be similar, from Reilly & Maloney, might be Ginny's

You may be thinking of the Sonny Boy Williamson II recording. He also did Frogs for Snakes, maybe on the same LP.
