Has anyone used Reverbnation for uploading songs or tunes?

I have seen uploads on other forums I'm on and I am wondering what anyone thinks of it. It seems to have a pretty generous upload limit of 100 songs with an individual limit of 8MB per song for the free version.

The info on the home page and the artists page is long on hype and short on hard info which is somewhat offputting but I did manage to get the above from the help page by putting in a question to the search box.

Before I sign up to these things, I like to know what I am getting.

Tootler - I have it and tried to link it to my Facebook Page, but it doesn't do what I really wanted!! I seem to have 2 Facebook pages, that can't be linked, meaning that the "musician" one is seldom used or visited??
The playing of songs seems to work OK, but it's visibility is not good.

Also check out this thread and this one. To find these, I typed 'reverbnation' (without quotation marks) into the FILTER box and set the age to ALL.

Thanks for the links, Crowhugger. Should have checked myself first though one was old & not much use. From the other I didn't like the sound of excessive emails.

I will wait & see what else is said.

Well, having looked at the other thread and also at Tim's page, I think I will stick with SoundCloud for now. Reverbnation seems to have a somewhat cluttered interface - not unlike myspace, and I didn't like the sound of all the promo material. It sounded over pushy to me and I don't like pushy.

I still have plenty of room on SoundCloud, they don't pester you, it's easy to use and has a relatively uncluttered interface.
