This year The Straw Bear Festival are running a Photographic Competition.

All you need to do is send x1 Photo of the 2012 Bear to [e-mail]

The winning photo will be used as part of the 2013 festival programme.

Ooh yes, forecast is 5 degrees, not too hot.
No comparison with two years ago when it was minus 6...

I thoroughly enjoyed the day. Many thanks to all of you who I hadn't seen for the last three years, and for making me feel so welcome.

FTR, who exactly were in the bears on Saturday. I was outside the Letter B when the handler called upon the musicians to play some bear dance music which, upon obliging, the bear went absolutrely loopy! A jou to watch. One of meny memorable occasions on the day.

We came down from Blackpool for the weekend and loved it.

Well done to the organisers for another amazing weekend.

We got some really good photos for the competition, thanks to MelodeonTom for mentioning it we'll be entering as soon as we unpack our camera.

We thought the bear wasn't as cheeky as last year.

I had my picture taken with the bear outside the Hero Pub last year and just before it was taken the bear went down on one knee holding my hand. Cheeky monkey looked like he was proposing to me. But it's still one of my happiest memories of last year.

Who were the clog team in Green?

They were fantastic. Nice to see Northwest Clog with power lift and energy. And there band were awesome

Gemsgemma that would be Chiltern Hundreds.

We saw them dance on the Market place and I agree it's good to see northwest clog with life in. You were right 'their' band are very good.

How do you get that much sound out of two melodeons? Fantastic we want them again please straw bear.

Wow what week end,it was brilliant. The dancing was excellent, weather could not have been better everyone involved made a great contribution to the whole. It will take days for my knees to recover. Thanks for the compliments, gan canny Brian
