The annual Sussex All-Day Singaround is next Saturday, from 11.00 a.m until 11. 00 p.m. at the Royal Oak, Barcombe, East Sussex BN8 5BA. The pub serves good food and Harveys Best and Old.

The day begins as usual with an hour of join-in tunes while people arrive. Singing starts at noon; ballads and the occasional instrumental party piece will be very welcome. There's a break from 6.00 - 7.00 p.m. After the break we'll continue the singaround, and after completing the circuit of the room we'll try to put on anyone who hasn't yet sung. Admission is free but we put out a collecting pot to cover advertising and room hire. We already know that some excellent singers are coming, especially as it doesn't clash this year with Whittlesea Straw Bear.

BALLAD SESSION NOON- 3.00 P.M. SUNDAY 22ND. JANUARY

There is also a free ballad session run by Sandra Goddard and me at the Elephant & Castle, White Hill, Lewes BN7 2DJ on the Sunday. The pub does good food.

Best wishes and hoping you'll be able to join us.

See you there Valmai.

I assume the "List of Singers" sheets will be wanted again so I'll bring some with me.

Dave

No, no themes - just sing whatever you want, with choruses or without, long or short, serious or funny.
