hi. im after the lyrics and titles of two songs my grandad used to sing to me as a little girl. the one starts with the lyrics

when mummy went to belfatst in a saturday morning train.
she said you be good boys and girls till i come home again.

the other is about a farmers daughter running away from home. i dont remember any if those lyrics. i would be very grateful if anyone could help me please.

Where were you geographically, time-wise, etc? Any info at all would be helpful. As is, unless someone knows the song, it will be real tough to locate.

Was your gran Irish?

thank you for your help. yes my grandad was irish. he used to sing these songs to his children as well. another part of the song goes. ' hickory dickory dick, a monkey yp a stick. you are the greatest fellow. that i know. ' the one about the girl running away i have no more info on. im sorry. x
