If you don't get any offers take them to your local thrift store - they can probably find someone who can use them.

Maybe the devil still has all the best tunes.

Now that you mention it, I bet some of them DO have chord letters marked! (I'm using the little guitar chord charty things as cheaters for uke..to familiarize with chords I don't normally use)

I'm really not familiar enough with the melody of many of that type of song to get much use out of them.
I know a lot of folks find delight in the lyrics and/or style..but I truly have no use for these books. If there's no taker, they'll end up in a box in the basement (until they're too dampened to keep) because I can't hardly stand to pitch readable songbooks.

This just seemed like a good place to offer them.

You may get a taker. I already have so many, from so many Catters, that I just don't have room.

Don't any of these have chords you can practice with?

Ok, it looks like 30s-60s and I'd estimate it at about five pounds of papercover books.

A couple for young children
Some Singspiration series
High Voices
Low Voices
Duets/Solos
and some Gospel Gems type

US..to keep my shipping cost tolerable

a few of the books are youth organization type, I will pilfer the pile and post a few highlights before real long.

Letting us know what country you're in might help elicit a response, as would titles of the books you'd like to rehome. Thank you for thinking of us.

I have a little stack of mildly old-ish religious songbooks.
They are of no use to me but I think they're kind of neat (neat enough to want to rehome them)

I would like to trade them for something that might be of use to me.

Songbooks with guitar chords (can't do that by ear these days) would delight me..especially 20s-early80s pop/country.
