Just a quick line to remind everyone last saturday of the month 28/01/12 is Baltic Fleet night. We will be there and singing from 8.30pm Come along whether you want to sin or just to listen!!!

You can't miss it especially if travelling by car on the dock road towards Dingle, in fact you've to be careful not to hit it as it sticks out unexpectedly into the road!!

We travelled up to Liverpool for last month's session, we had a great time. Sadly the distance is too far for us to make it a regular fixture in our diary but we'll be back to the Baltic as soon as we can.

Would love to get back to The Baltic Fleet (too far these days) but its good to see that lots still happens there. It used to be called eupemistically "The Baltic Cafe" when we used it regularly for "meal Breaks" when I worked for the AA in Liverpool in the 60o' and 70's.

Actually they do very nice sandwiches, pies and more (ie more varieties of their own real ale brews than you can shake a stick at).
