Subject: More Campfire Songs From: Allan C. Date: 07 Oct 99 - 04:39 PM I just came across this site: The Flying Pig Campfire Songbook and wanted to pass it on in case it hadn't already been noted in another thread. (And if it was, I couldn't find it.) It contains an incredible list of songs and parodies which are accessed by clicking on the letter of the alphabet they are listed under. I tell you this because it really doesn't look like anything is linked at all. Alright everyone, go play! |

Subject: RE: More Campfire Songs From: Cara Date: 07 Oct 99 - 05:12 PM Great site! I know all kinds of those songs, and I've sung them to my cousins and various other unfortunate children over the years, and I never ever realized that "My Darlin' Clementine" and "Found a Peanut" were the same tune. I've probably sung them back to back and never knew. Duh. |

Subject: RE: More Campfire Songs From: alison Date: 08 Oct 99 - 03:42 AM Hi Cronk Welcome to mudcat..... you'll have more luck if you start new threads with the title of each song in them... otherwise people don't find your requests lost in another thread. Just go to the top and click on "create a new thread" then follow the instructions..... or put some of the lyrics into the "search the database" box.. they might already be here..... slainte alison |
