It can't be doing his throat any good at all. Musicians are good. Backing singers are great.

On the first listen through the immediate one I like is Come Healing

It's got a nice feel as an album. The delivery is somewhere between JJ Cale and Tom Waits as you would expect.

Show Me the Place - I'm enjoying and reckon will be popular.

Have a listen it's an interesting album.

His guitar playing's come on. I always used to reckon that he'd learned from the same place as me as the fingerpicking on the Songs of Leonard Cohen were the one's I got from the BBC course in 1960something.

I'll get into the words yet and may sing one on Wednesday before everyone else sings the album...

Got to hear the album this morning and it's quite wonderful, a work of genius, in my opinion. I agree with Mike Regenstrief's review. My order is in at Amazon.ca and I hope to have the CD in my mailbox this week.
