I guess we sell downloads through CDbaby and they deal with iTunes. Every now and then, I get a check, so someone's getting them. Haven't been able to retire on the earnings yet, but this is folk music.

soundclick does it for 75 cents per download ... you keep 64 cents of every download.

Now how well it works I dunno, I got 45,000 youtube plays on lightning road song and tens of thousands of downloads .. but alas all free. I may have had none had I charged.

You can give both a try, costs nothing to sign up. Two songs I am charging for to generate some bucks for the autism foundation, so far 20 dollars LOL

Sign up with CDBaby and through them their download partners like iTunes.

I am on some 30 or more MP3 engines, including iTunes. CDBaby serves as the clearing house - and they manage your account with service.

It is a good deal for the artist. You get most of each $$download charge.

I sold my 1st CD on CDBaby... The problem I had with it is that you have to keep messing with it to see much because you kinda slip off the bottom of the page... But, at last count I think I sold about 35 CDs thru them... But that's been awhile... Like 6 or 7 years...
