over a thousand people turned out on a cold winters night to protest against household charges, septic tank charges and the closure of small rural schools.
Taioseach and puppet Enda Kenny had a rough ride from over a thousand protesters, when he turned up at the Westlodge Hotel in Bantry WestCork.
The Taioseach was turning up for a retirement dinner for two ex Fine Gael tds [short for turnip dice heads]the dinner was funded by the taxpayers.

You were protesting right Dick? Surely you were not the party entertainment. Well maybe, funnier things have happened, Tories asked a lifelong Labour party member, a health economist who vehemently opposes the changes to the NHS on economic grounds, to chair a meeting at the last Tory conference on the tories changes to the NHS doh!

I was protesting, I wouldnt even attempt to entertain a party of turnip heads or Fine Gael Quislings,I don't do any establishment songs,
I was keeping protesters entertained. we could have improved our tactics, we should have had a pretend fine gael person in a suit hiding in a car the car park, in contact with mobile phone, who emerged as the bold Enda got out of his carat the entrance to the hotel

Why the third person Dick? In any case, I can't see that ten quid a year is much to protest about. Maybe you'll come out when they are protesting against church- protected rapists or IRA bombers next time?

    but it wont stop there, because we then have a household tax[ for no services]., Landlords are having to pay a property tax and a household tax, businesses that rent holiday homes, who may have ten septic tanks have to suddenly find 500, it is all completely clueless, and indicates that the Irish government do not understand how the consumer society and the capitalist system works, the consumer has to have money for he/her to be able to buy the goods being produced.
the economy will stagnate under this mis direction
I do nOt mind paying rates if i get a refuse collection, But I see no logical reason to pay a tax for a non existent service, Paul if you disagree with me and think it is logical to pay for a service you are not receiving , I suggest you send me the 50 euros, because you clearly do not mind paying for a service you are not getting.
We are also having to see the removal of ambulance services the closure of small rural schools, mean while the minister of the environment is refusing to take a pay cut, and tds are retiring on massive pensions, and expecting the voters to live On 180 euros a week.

to get 1000 out on a cold winters night in rural ireland is massive.
spontaneous verses made up what did you learn in school , makes it folk music.
1.I learned enda kenny has got a plan to cut ambulance services if he can, it wont cost much and ill tell you why cos if your sick you just go and die.
2.I learned the minister has another plan, to close small schools if he can.
he wants our votes and he thinks were fools, if he thinks were going to let him close small schools.
3 I LEARNED THE GOVERNMENT HAS ANEW TAX THE HOUSEHOLD CHARGE AND HERES THE FACTS, YOU PAY OUT A 100 AND GET NOTHING FOR THAT.
