Glad to see it appears to be held at Somerleyton and not at the Norfolk Showground. Musical events make a hell of a din, the last time there was one here in Norfolk, hundreds of people called the Police, it was deafening. We're 8 miles away and couldn't sleep. Why must these things be belted out at such an amplitude? (Now you can call me an old grumpy, and spoilsport etc!)

I wouldn't define it as a "major" festival until after the first one has run and we know how many people turned up.

If I was putting money into a festival I wouldn't risk it on that sort of line up head to head with Towersey.

I like festivals that take place in the right kind of town, and pull in the local folk community to make a proper fringe, rather than stuck out in a field, and relying on the professionals shipped in for a brief concert appearance.

I miss Felizstowe and Walton.
