Subject: Lyr Req: State College PA 1970's ATM song From: GUEST Date: 04 Feb 12 - 07:44 PM I attended Penn State Univ. back around 1975, and remember a local coffee house performer who composed some satirical songs, one that sticks in my mind, which I'd like to revive, was about the very early ATM's -- amazing they've been around since the 1970's! Mildly risqué, but no more than lots of blues. Some lyrics I remember (maybe combining verses); Rosie the Titless Teller, na na na na na She puts out for all the fellers, na... If you really need a lot, just put your card in the slot Rosie, she's always there! Rosie the Breastless Banker, na... You don't even have to thank her, na... So don't sit in your room and pout, just go downtown and punch (check?) her out Rosie, she's always there! There were three or four more verses along the same line. Surely someone remembers this one? Thanks! |
