On Thursday 16 February @ The Musician in Leicester Kathryn Roberts & Sean Lakeman will be playing with support from James Findlay.

Kathryn Roberts has a folk pedigree second to none. She first recorded with Kate Rusby and then spent seven years in Equation, which featured all three of the Lakeman brothers. As a duo with husband Sean Lakeman she released two albums and the third, Invisible People, is almost ready for release. Last year she was also a member of the acclaimed Cecil Sharp Project. As well as Equation and playing with Kathryn Sean Lakeman plays guitar in brother Seth's band and is also an in demand producer, currently finishing the Levellers latest album.

Here's a video of Kathryn and Sean at Shrewsbury Folk Festival last year.

James Findlay is a former BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award winner and his debut album, Sport & Play, won acclaim from the likes of Living Tradition, Bright Young Folk and many others.

You can see him at Bromyard Folk Festival here

Tickets are £9 from the Musician or wegottickets

Doors 8pm, music starts 8.30pm.
