Looking through some old song words and stuff and came across a programme for "The Widow's Uniform" which we went to see in Sidmouth in 1997.
Any idea where we might get a copy of the CD and/or a list of the songs from the performance.

Not of 'The Widow' stage show - it was simply to expensive to tour. Besides which, Johnny's no longer with us, and the management has 'moved on', as they say.

I do occasional concerts with Dave and Anni under the title 'The Road to Mandalay' which includes a lot of the songs from the Widow, but there's no acting and no red coats, I'm afraid.

Bonzo, I don't know of any local radio broadcasts, and we're not in contact with the former 'Widow' management these days. I know there was a spot on the Radio 4 culture slot 'Kaleidoscope' but that was interview / recordings. I'll see whether Dave and Anni know anything. Glad you enjoyed it.

I have been listening to the CD of songs from this wonderful show, which was performed during 1997 featuring among others Brian Peters and Dave Webber - the most amazing Peter Bellamy soundalike I have ever heard!

If Brian Peters reads this, were any performances of The Widow's Uniform ever broadcast on BBC local radio?
