Subject: RE: Heard of a guy named 'Christy Moore?' From: John in Brisbane Date: 13 Oct 99 - 06:56 PM Rosie, if the lyrics aren't at the Christy Moore lyrics site, they are definitely in the Christy Moore Songbook. I'm sure that one of us can post these in the next day or two as required. Regards, John |
Subject: RE: Heard of a guy named 'Christy Moore?' From: Rosie O'Grady Date: 13 Oct 99 - 05:33 PM Christy Moore did a song the lyrics to which I am dying to get. The chorus ran "Hey Ronnie Reagan, I'm black and I'm pagan, I'm gay and I'm left and I'm free. I'm a nonfundamentalist environmentalist - Please don't bother me." anyone got the words????? |
Subject: RE: Heard of a guy named 'Christy Moore?' From: Lowden Unruly Date: 12 Oct 99 - 10:24 PM Hey Savis, I know Christy is highly regarded as a solo act but I'm only really familiar with him as a member of Planxty. He recorded about 4 albums with them back in the seventies. Irish music just doesn't get any better than that (IMHO). Their first recording "Planxty" still floors me. LU |
