Pleased to hear that the Daily Frail is back.
It was always an excellent and alternative look at how to play what you want to play on banjo without regarding every tune as a"snapshot" to slavishly copy note for note and string for string.
Quack!
Geoff.

In addition to relaunching The Daily Frail, Dear Old Dad and I are also busy with a new weekly folk music podcast called Keys to the Highway. The show blends everything from oral tradition storytelling to bluegrass folk and blues. We are ASCAP and BMI licensed thanks to the generous support of our listeners.

Here is the playlist for our current show:

Life on a skipjack with waterman Eugene Evans Marshall
Footprints in the Snow - Mac Wiseman
Ragged and Dirty - William Brown
Leaf from the Sea - Elkville String Band
Last Chance - Gus Cannon and Hosea Woods
Westward Bound - Ha Ha Tonka
Let it Shine - Lead Belly
Loving You - Mickey Gaylean
Bittersweet Waltz- Andy Stokes
Harlem River Blues - Justin Townes Earle
Chasin' Ranbows _ Dallas String Band
Wish It Would Stop Raining - Exene Cervenka
A Change In Me - Johnny Williams
Let me Dream On - Paul Williams and the Victory Trio
Special thanks to Danny for his dramatic reading of country song lyrics!
