Subject: RE: Sinn Fein Songbook From: Loretta Grace Date: 14 Oct 99 - 02:13 PM Hey -- if anyone is a fan of this sort of thing (that is, Irish rebel music) and lives in NYC, let me recommend you a great local band. Actually two of their songs (Fenians and Sunday Bloody Sunday) are avaiable on that link up there. If you like those songs go see Seanchai (shan-a-key) on Sunday nights at 9 or 10 pm ish, Rocky Sullivan's, which is on Lexington at 29th street. They're almost always there and it's always a good time when they are. It's $5 cover. Loretta |
Subject: RE: Sinn Fein Songbook From: j0_77 Date: 12 Oct 99 - 11:11 AM Try Waltons Music Store 15 Henrietta St Dublin Ireland OR Elderly Instruments USA(on the Web ...you'll need to do a search with Yahoo to find the URL) BTW I suspect you are interested in Songs like 'The Merry Ploughboy' etc ..which is probably in the database here. These type of songs are often found with other songs in General collections. :0) |
