I'm not a curry lover, but Tom's curry is just delicious.
It was a fun gathering, so nice to have Jeri and Joanne there, as we seldom see them.
I sold 5 CDs of Maine Lies Downeast; that was an unexpected surprise. Thanks folks.

Mudcat keeps swallowing my posts. I did say I was sorry Maeve wouldn't make. You would have enjoyed the evening. Pretty laid back, lots of songs, stories and laughing. Great curry from Tom and Deb. Ugly birthday cake for Tami. Weekends are too damn short.

The wine-snorting was fun. Like I said when I was there, "who needs a netti pot?"

I had a wonderful time. Not that much singing, but the relaxed camaraderie was great. I need to learn or relearn songs. Thanks to Mary and Jacqui and everyone else who made for a great evening.

When I left, Joanne had just left before me, but I passed her on the side or the end of Mary's road. While I was waiting to make a left turn, she pulled up behind me. I have a theory: Joanne driving down the road, thinking "Oh pshaw! How do I get back to the turnpike again? Lemme get the GPS out. Oh look, there's Jeri, she might know where she's going." Once in a while, this conclusion might have a chance of being right.

I think this is a good read of the situation, because when I found myself in the wrong lane, she was right behind me. We did make it to 295, but I eventually lost her. I hope she remembered where she lives.

I also made the mistake (not so much) of "oohing" over a pretty scarf/shawl on Jacqui, so she stuck it on me as I went out the door.
