Hopefully you'll be aware of the Folk21/UKFolk Club Network initiative started by John Richards. A national committee has now been established, chaired by Pete Coe, and now a series of regional days are being planned.

The eastern regional day is planned for the 21st July, organised by myself and Terry Walden, hosted by the Milkmaid Folk Club in Bury St Edmunds.

Invites to club organisers have now gone out, covering the counties of Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambs, Essex, Herts, Beds and Northamptonshire. If you are a guest booking club orginiser in this area, and have not received information from me, please PM me.

The day will provide an opportunity to explore common ground, best practice, promotional activities etc and will finish with an evening showcase concert featuring emerging acts from outside the area.
