I was at Sharps Folk Club last week and there was a woman there from Cornwall who was visiting. She had THE most astounding voice and sang traditional songs. She also had a detailed knowledge of what she was singing and where it was from etc. Can anyone tell me anything about her? I haven't heard anyone sing that well for ages. It really made my night. She was asked to finish the night so someone must know of her.

Assuming you mean the one in Cecil Sharp House in Camden, they have a web site with contact information, if you want to ask them.

I think that may be Kathy Wallis, if it was around the 14th March, as she posted on facebook that she had had a lovely evening at Sharps folk Club and thanked them for lrtting her finish the night....

Cheers, Lucy
