Subject: Trying to find this old song From: GUEST,barb c Date: 21 Mar 12 - 05:12 PM I'm hoping someone out there knows the name and/or lyrics to this song, I only remember partial lyrics so here goes: Skipping and running from Antrim to Kerry, the wee people dance upon blossom and berry in valley and woodland they dance and make merry, in valley and woodland the wee people live. Moonbeams fall down like a pale silver spread while the earth children slumber in cradle and bed.. That's all I remember of it, we sang it at school when I was in 2nd grade (I'm 58 now) I always loved the song but over the years it's faded in my memory, hoping someone knows it. Thanks! |

I googled 'from Antrim to Kerry' and found quite a few uses of it. Evidently it is the Irish equivalent for America's 'coast to coast.' Interesting. |
