This won't be news to many - I think most Catters who know me also know me in the real world.

But just in case anyone was wondering what had happened to Pip Radish, I've decided to decloak and use my own name. I initially registered here as myself, & changed to Pip Radish in a fit of anagrammery (Sweeney O'P has a lot to answer for)*. I wasn't planning on keeping it, but I got to like it.

Why change back? Well, you know, when one is a recording artist, darling... But mainly because I just felt like it. Thanks, Joe, for making the change as soon as I asked.

*"Pip Radish" is not an anagram of my name - which is in fact quite hard to anagrammatise. I originally went by 'Lewd' Pip Radish; that was an anagram, but it was a bit too silly to keep.

Lewd Pip Radish would be a brilliant name for a Hobbit blues singer.

"Hip Weds Lard" ???

Guess you're right.

Very glad to see that the racy vegetable [lewd radish] isn't gone, only transmogrified.

But hidden tracks are not hidden when you've told everyone they're there! Good luck, TomB

What larks, Phil...

No, doesn't have the same ring. Can I still call you Pip? It is short for Phillip after all...

Aw... I shall miss that stubby little red thing on Mudcat...

Like a man made after supper of a cheese-paring: when a' was naked, he was, for all the world, like a forked radish, with a head fantastically carved upon it with a knife.

Nah - just thought Pip should depart with a quote from Shakespeare.

Shakespeare, I do believe, is the trip upon which Mr Fly has embarked

Wild Sharp Ed - could have been a cowboy
Hip Waddlers - if it walks like a duck
Welsh DD pair - reminds me of a girl I once knew
Piddler Shaw - always embarrassed at school
Shap Widdler - incontinent hill climber
D' Wild Seraph

I can see why you made your choice

What you need Bonnie is http://wordsmith.org/anagram/index.html

And you could even be 'Banal Jennies Oh' - or hundreds more to chose from!

Just pleased to hear that 'Pip' (the man behind the name) is not leaving Mudcat (which is what I feared when I saw the thread subject); if his name wants to leave, that's ok... [g]

Wasn't there another "Pip" catter?
I think it was Jon Freeman's (of folk info fame)mother?
