Subject: Sisters Unlimited in Liverpool From: Owen Woodson Date: 31 Mar 12 - 10:02 AM North West England based fans of that superb women's collective Sisters Unlimited (Peta Webb, Sandra Kerr, Rosie Davis and Sandra Kerr), will be delighted to know that they will be performing an afternoon and evening gig in Liverpool on Saturday 14th April at St Bride's Church, Percy Street, Liverpool, L8 7LT. See map The gig will kick off at 2pm with a 90 minute singing workshop from the Sisters, followed by · 4pm – 5pm Peta and Sandra with Women's Lives, Women's song · 4pm - 5pm Rosie and Janet with dance and song. The concert starts at 7pm with Sisters Unlimited & support in the form of local folk group Our Morals. Admission prices are:- · Afternoon workshops - joint ticket for two workshops £10; · Evening concert: £10. · Joint ticket for workshops and concert: £15 · Unwaged and children up to 15 years old half price For more information, to check out a couple of tracks from the Sisters' soon to be released CD, and to hear what a splendid band Our Morals is, check Radical Liverpool BTW., St Bride's is a very progressive church, but unlicensed nonetheless, so make sure you bring your own drinks. |
