Apols if I posted this before and forgot.

If you're pressed for time, start THIS VIDEO at about 5:45 in, to see the Easter I'M looking forward to, today. (The song and interview before it are great also.) We hope to do this one SOON at our Saturday Night Service.

(Which I'll be hearing in my head Sunday AM during Church School/the fancy service, in my silly (honoring-Mom) Easter bonnet.)

Lyrics by Suzanne Jennings, music by Barry Jennings. As sung by Lynda Randle, "Timeless".

1. Day 1--
It had all begun
To turn out to be the darkest day.
The blood and the crown
Of thorns took Him down
Looked like Ol' Death had gotten his way.
We cried
When we knew He had died
And they carried His body away.
The blood and the tears
Saved for thirty-three years
Turned the dust on that ground into clay.

But/(And) I still remember
All the word(s) that He said
They move like a mystery
'Round and 'round in my head:
"(You) tear down this temple
I'll rebuild it you'll see
It's all gonna happen to me....
Day 3." (yeah yeah/oh)

2. Day 2--
And it seemed we were through
And we looked for a good place to hide,
In a cold upper room
We thought of that tomb
Where His body was wasting inside.
So long
We believed He was gone
But something would not let us go,
In the black of that night
We saw a faint light
Like a candle beginning to glow.

3. Day 3--
Something happened to me
When I saw that that grave had no stone.
They said, "He's not here"
And I shuddered with fear
Then a Voice that I knew said, "Hello."
When my heart recognized
That no grave could hold this man down
I'm so amazed--
What He did in three days
Turned this whole crazy world upside down!

Ain't no grave.... can hold this body down...
