Sad to bring the sad news of the death this morning of the great Sarah Anne o'Neill of Derrytresk, Co. Tyrone. Funeral will be on Monday 16th April in Clonoe Church at 11.00am. Another of the "old ones" gone!

What on earth can I say? A lovely person and a wonderful singer. I hope she meets up with Geordie in heaven and they enjoy the mother of all singing sessions.

Such a beautiful kind woman and the voice of an angel. She will be missed. Heaven now has another angel.

It's hard to believe that granny is gone, she was a great woman with a heart of gold and the voice of an angel. the fight that she put up over the last few months was incredible.

she is in a better place now with gerodie granda and uncle john,our loss is heavens gain.

The videoclip comes from a Rhythms of the World documentary which was broadcast on BBC 2 bout 25 years ago. The speaker in the background, just before Vincent Campbell comes on was the RTÉ broadcaster Cíaran MacMathuna.
