Hi all in the Bristol area and beyond.

I am starting up a monthly open session in Easton in Bristol on the 4th Sunday of each month.

It is open to all singers and players of any ability and experience to share songs or tunes, practice performance or just enjoy the music.

I have felt a sad lack of folk songs in my life since the demise of the Miner's Arms group, so this is my attempt to remedy that!

It will be held at Maitreya Social
89 st Marks Rd, Easton, BS5 6HY.
www.maitreyasocial.co.uk

Starting Sunday the 29th and each month thereafter from about 7pm. Looking forward to seeing anyone who can make it!

Cheers, Barney

Hmm, Our daughter lives about 200 yards from there. We will have to try to make out visits to see her on the 4th weekend of the month.

I'll tell my Bristol friends about this. Btw, there's a tune and song session every Monday at the Three Tuns.
