Subject: RE: Woodshed Broadstairs From: Richard Bridge Date: 17 Jul 12 - 07:41 PM I think it is admirable that there is still somewhere in Broadstairs to play, but it does get very overcrowded and I doubt if I will drive all the way to Broadstairs just to do a mid-afternoon session. |
Subject: RE: Woodshed Broadstairs From: GUEST,synbyn Date: 17 Jul 12 - 09:01 AM Yes the Woodshed sessions at Broadstairs Folk Week are in the same place, same time... 3pm every day at the Wrotham Arms Sat Aug 11th- Fri Aug 17th The Wrotham Arms is a pub fully signed up to Folk Week- and therefore has a top-range set of guests all week at lunchtimes and in the evenings too... well-kept beer and a friendly staff too. If you're after a seat, best get in quick- every year we've seen over 100 musicians and singers during the week... there's always a festival guest to give us a couple of slots, and the range of music is truly staggering! Look forward to seeing you there Bob |
