Watch these little girls who come out and step-dance about five minutes or so into the clip: Lessons? Who needs lessons? Great to see that there are still kids who are learning by doing.

At the Rollo Bay Fiddle Festival in PEI.

That was wonderful!! I never had lessons and didn't really have any examples, but I'd put on music and dance for my parents, doing what I *thought* was a highland fling. Loved it then and still do, though I am unable to these days.

Thanks for sharing!

katdancing (used to be my nickname in my 20s:-)

It's fun, and it warms a little girl up.

Good grief, it says it's July, and look at the clothes those people have on - long jeans, shirts plus hooded sweatshirts. The guitarist is huddled over her guitar like it's a campfire.

I hope somebody was selling hot drinks.

Hoodies - obviously they're thugs up to no good .... Anyway, you don't get too many steamy, tropical nights on ol' PEI.

Glad it warmed you up!

Lovely to be so uninhibited, to just get out and try something without the fear of doing it "wrong."
