Subject: RE: Moulettes, Mumfords and The Coppers From: GUEST,Edmonton Rover Date: 29 Apr 12 - 01:49 PM Saw them at Cecil Sharp at one of Sam Lee's Folk Rising do's. Very good indeed. Very quirky songs, but melodic, great playing. No Mumfords or Coppers to be seen! |
Subject: RE: Moulettes, Mumfords and The Coppers From: GUEST,Norman (lost the cookie) Date: 29 Apr 12 - 05:01 PM Another generation of Coppers? Sounds promising. There is a launch gig for their second album, if you're in or can get to London on May 31st: Details here |
Subject: RE: Moulettes, Mumfords and The Coppers From: Jack Campin Date: 29 Apr 12 - 07:11 PM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P46plI0n0TI A bit ordinary and in rather silly mid-Atlantic accents (or rather, their sentences tend to start in middle-class southern England and try to reach America with as much success as the Titanic).
