I found all the extra "h" sounds to be kind of off putting - "H'I've", "h'oh", "h'and". Did anybody else notice that?

Maryrrf, I've been really annoyed by that for the last few years!

"Doh'wn by the'h Sally Gardeh'ns" etc...Not by Cara, and not only that song, but lots of others.

Really sets my teeth on edge!

It's a bad habit of some country singers and it really is irritating. When I first started singing in public (a long time ago!) I did it and someone pointed it out to me - I'm glad they did. Once I was aware of it I stopped doing it.

Sorry to spoil the party, but Cara Dillon cannot possibly be an Elf. Elves are exclusively male & as a result of this exclusivity, they are immortal. I became an Elf in 1983, when I was cast in the film: 'Santa Claus, the Movie' with the late Dudley Moore.
