Well, they're tunes, not songs. I would think there are a fair number of songs that would fit to them well enough.

On that page there are three people credited with music for the games. I'm leaving the page address here because I'll forget and get pissed off about forgetting. We may end up having to ask them (assuming they're still around).

I listened and no bells rung, but then my memory ain't the greatest. I'll keep looking.

These 2 songs appear on the original Sid Meier's Railroad Tycoon. I think at least the first listed here is traditional, not sure about the second, but the game does not provide names for them.
