Did anyone see the Albions on Cromer Pier yesterday?

Yes! John Tams had a voice dep in the shape of Joe Topping, the theatre was a bit over-warm but it was a lovely gig :-)

Ah. Have just realised I confused his old band with his new band - Home Service. Soz. I saw The Albion Band too. I thought that on the one hand it took too much upon itself, when talking about "our back catalogue", for instance, but also that they treated the material with too much reverence. They seemed like a slightly awkward cover band. That Blair Dunlop's got a cracking voice though.

Yes Blair is also a cracking guitarist and songwriter, we have seen him both solo and with Ashley Hutchings, his Dad.
