Went to the Lamplighter session 3 weeks ago after hearing about it on this thread and can really recommend it as very welcoming and friendly and willing to hear your own imput as well as being of a very high standard of musicianship in their own right

We went to the folk session at the Lamplighter last Wednesday and thoroughly enjoyed it. It included an interesting jazz version of 'Black is the Colour'. Nowt like a bit of fusion! great stuff.

I'm visiting the Lakes around the last week of July and wondered if anyone knows of any folk sessions in the Ambleside area and beyond?
