I'd love to know if there are any Mudcat folks who will be at this year's MLAG. This will be my first year attending, and I'm entirely thrilled as I've been given a MLAG scholarship to attend.

I've known some of the presenters for years - I was in an class at Augusta in 95 with Heidi and John, and Colleen was in one of MY (crafts) classes there. Colleen and Neal (and Cathy Barton) are high up on the "Folk musicians who have Joanne's beadwork" list. Cindy Harris has always been a treat when I've seen her anywhere. Barton & Para are some of the stars, and they were teachers in that 95 Augusta class, and buddies for years. Lucille Reilly is a buddy of my friend Ruth, and also a joy. The people I already KNOW who will be there are such a joyful, exciting and musically inspirational bunch, I'm in wild anticipation thinking I'm likely to meet a whole 'NOTHER group of truly fandamtastic people.

If yer a Mudcat person who is going, lemme know and introduce yerself, please?
My campsite has a CupOfTea banner flying (whodathunk?) and I'm likely to be wearing outrageously flowered hats.

Master musicians, great performers, and wonderful people all. Great line-up and should be a big step toward improving skills, hearing timeless and entertaining music, meeting up with old friends and making new ones.
