I was enchanted by the Metropolitan Opera production of this baroque pastiche, offered on NPR last week.

I lack recording equipment, so was unable to make a dvd of this great and humourous performance.

If anyone at mudcat made a recording, would they be so kind as to make a copy. I would pay all expenses.

A DVD probably will be issued sometime in the future, but I am impatient to see it again.

Keep watching your local TV listings. It may appear again.

I saw it at a Metropolitan Opera broadcast at a local movie theater a few months ago and also found it delightful. I was happy to be able to watch it again on TV this week.

Recently saw a performance of Faust by the Met on PBS. It was done in modern dress which made me a bit wary, but it was wonderful. It's being repeated in a few days, and I'm going to watch it again.
