The new Sydney folk gathering BUSH BASH starts this Wednesday from 7.30pm in the 1st floor lounge of the Imperial Hotel. It is free and singers and musicians welcome to join in if they have read this site's discussion on 'session etiquette'. The hotel is at 252 Oxford Street, Paddington, 10 minutes from the city centre and is accessible to Oxford street buses. It's a terrific room and I will be hosting with various members of my groups The Larrikins and the Australian Bush Orchestra. The evenings will feature traditional song, music, poetry and stories.
