Subject: Origins: 'Friends, only love can bring peace'
From: GUEST,Andrea Small

I recently heard a round with the following lyrics:
"Friends, only love can bring peace
So let us love with all hearts
'Til day is done and peace is won
'Til peace is won"

There was some discussion about its origin - some thought it was sung at Greenham Common, some thought it came from the Quakers. I've attempted to research online (including here), but no facts.
Can anyone help, please?
