On this date in 1967, I was up early, making breakfast for my Best Man and Ushers, to try and get THEM to the church on time. 45 years...can't help but think of Stan Rogers' song..."I want to see your smiling face 45 years from now." He deserved it but didn't get it. I didn't deserve it, but got it. If there isn't any justice, you can just hope for luck. And the greatest luck is meeting the right person at the right time.

I was also recently thinking how lucky I am to have met the right one at the right time. Congrats on your 45 years.

Congratulations!

Tom and I met late...we'd each served a 10 year apprenticeship with another spouse.

On June 26th we'll be married 30 years...and we've not run out of things to talk about or songs to sing.
