Swindon Folk Club will be homeless from the 20th July 2012. Our current hosts the Milton Road Club have large debts which means the club building must be sold to clear them. They have been good friends to us so we are sorry to see this state of affairs for all concerned.   We are currently looking for a new home and I will keep the updates coming when I have news of new abode.

If you need to discuss any issues - call Eric Stott on the usual number.

Here's hoping a good venue can be found. Are there any plans for a big farewell from Milton Road ? For sure I am not alone in having many happy memories of great nights there, and I agree it has offered the club a happy home over the years - really sorry that it has fallen on such hard times.

At least the Folk Singers Club does have a strong body of support which I am sure will see it survive long into the future. This is one of the great Folk Clubs of the country with a wonderful history and many many friends ...

As some of you know, our folk club had to move after 40+ years in the same venue... hope you find a new and welcoming home soon!
