I can't believe that this site, founded in 2003, has not yet found it's way onto the 'Cat.

banjodog.com

It's probably the only banjo cam on the Internet!

Also on the site, a wonderful gallery of images of banjos in fine art (be sure to mouse-over the individual works to zoom in for detail and description). And, merchandise, including some really nice banjo-related pub glasses. An image from some of the stickers is making the rounds on Facebook lately.

My only complaint? Resonator banjos only. Sigh.

Yes, and that one's plain enough in design that it's not specifically a resonator banjo. I may have to get some stickers, or a shirt. :-)

For the life of me I can't see the point of the ' banjocam ' it's just a camera focused on the same banjo all the time, why ?

Are you being ironic, Dave H? That's what webcams do. (Much like web cameras bird's nests -- when the eggs are sitting there and the mother is away, or the seal beach -- when all the seals are out fishing, or... but in this case, the banjo is there most of the time! Also, search Mudcat for mention of the Crazy Horse [Monument] webcam.

Dave-

Were you expecting this to be a banjo tuning webcam? Now that would be something to see, and hear!

They might as well have posted a photo, there's no difference, and I still can't see the point.
