Knockholt Autumn Leaves this year is 5th to 9th September.

The 7th is my 64th birthday and NOBODY had better play that damned Beatles song.

It appears there will probably be changes to the charging structure to (probably) flat rate £8 per head per night with no unit charge and no size of unit charge.

And, although long range forecasting is black magic this year, I see hints that there may indeed be an Indian summer from about Sept 4 to sept 15 in southern England!

£8 per head seem a much fairer pricing policy - especially for us loners Ho ho ...

Its getting close to that time of year again and I am surprised there is no Knockholt thread up yet,
So I have taken it upon my self to put one up.

What is the situation with the Marquee Re the poles being bent after it took off and crashed down back in June , do we have a Marquee or not because if we do not I have a very large tent that can be used that could accomodate folk its a 6 birth. if we rip out the sleeping compartments we could get at least 10 people in it.

I have messaged Joe Offer and asked him to remove my Knockholt thread. What I cant understand is I serched for a excisting Knockers thread solely because it is usually on Mudcat by this time of the year and RB starts it and I could not find any thing in the search Bar.

There again I have not been firing on all six these last 6 weeks so its probobly down to human error (mine) anyway I have taken several readings and I feel my mind is now quite sound????

What is the news of the Marquee. after it took off back in June and came back down to Earth in pieces ? do we have a Marquee?

When I was one of the organisers I chose a different name each time, trying to keep it related to song names or booze i.e. Autumn Almanac, Forever Autumn, Autumn Stone(ings)Moon In June, Summer Breeze etc - come on let's try and be just a little more creative!

I also understand that due to some UNKNOWN persons Arse exploding in one of the Porta loo,s last June smothering the interior with crap and rendering the bog useless, It has been decided this September to allocate one of the toilets has a Ladies only toilet ?????

That would be ideal Richard I dont mind pressure washing the loos out each morning and checking them over the four day period but i withdraw the offer if I have to use the old fashioned mop and bucket I dont wanna get me hands dirty ? my concern is will the water on the field running through the hose be a suitable supply for a pressure washer clearly I know little about such things?

I can pressure wash my self at the same time. That would be a luxury for us tent folk with out showers ,I usually smell like a pole cat by the Sunday
