I wore my Woody T-shirt in his honour last evening at the local open mike. Strangely no-one asked me to sing "This land is Your land" (or anything else)!

To celebrate Woody's 100th, BBC Radio 4's Archive Hour is presenting an hour long documentary on him, this Saturday 14 July at 20-00 hrs BST. It is narrated by Joe Klein who wrote the first major biography of Guthrie and is called Woody at 100. (Thinks. Who at the BBC had the imagination and perspicity to call it that?)
