If you have been seriously into the blues long enough you should realise you are wasting your time unless you are just wanting to get some people to subsidise a vacation. If you haven't been there yet and sussed out what is or isn't there I don't see how you can promise a fascinating book. There are a number of books and photographs on the blues in Mississippi from a time when it had real substance and a number of good musicians still there. You can't write a book on wishful thinking, you are about forty years too late. Sadly.

I kind of agree with the poster above that you're very unlikely to unearth much new in the Mississippi area that hasn't already been found.

But kudos to you sir, you've already managed to get over $1000 of backing pledged already for your book. So good luck to you.
