Subject: Verses for a quiet summer's afternoon
From: Will Fly
Date: 20 Jul 12 - 07:33 AM

This little poem of mine is dedicated to a neighbour of mine whose rural back garden bounds on to my rural back garden in the heart of sunny Sussex.

All's quiet in my snug retreat this summer's afternoon,
Until my neighbour shatters it and plays his didgeridoom.
One valiant deed I've vowed to do e'er from this realm I pass -
To stick his fucking didgeridoom right up his fucking arse.

Any other offers on how the quiet of the countryside can be buggered up by things other than didgeridoos? Chainsaws? Strimmers? Motor mowers? BBQs?

I like 'Didgeridoom' Will , and usually use 'Didgeridont' myself

Will, when you are were learning, somebody listened to the awful sound of you learning guitar and was patient. Pass it on.

I've no objection to anyone learning anything, leeneia. But he isn't learning and, nearly every Sunday when we're sitting in the peace of our garden, this dreadful droning can go on for hours. It's very loud and it's very intrusive. I play my guitar a lot - indoors. I practise my fiddle - when my neighbours are out. I try and be considerate - and expect other people to be the same.
