Subject: New guitar tunes from Dave Shiflett From: GUEST Date: 24 Jul 12 - 01:01 PM Greetings: I just posted a collection of new guitar instrumentals called 'Down The Road' that some Mudcatters may find interesting. The title track was inspired by research into the life of a family slave, which turned up information about a fugitive slave named Tom, apparently caught at least once. He gets away in my version. Other tunes include 'In My Father's House,' about struggling with dementia, 'Last Iraq Highway,' about military deployment, and 'Possum Got a Peg Leg,' a neo-old time tune.
