That is amazing, thank you!

For over a year I've been looking for the title of a mazurka taught at a local tunes class. The tutor wasn't aware of a name for it. On the first attempt this search engine came up with Vincent Campbell's #2/ Phroinsias Ui Mhaonaigh's Mazurka #2.

Nice. I tried it with the first 10 notes of "To Daunton Me" and it got it twice in the first 10 suggestions.

Hello all,

I know a small handful of you know about folktunefinder.com (a couple of threads here link to it). It's a search engine for folk tune melodies. Kind of like a mudcat for tunes. Pay a visit and find out exactly what it does and if it's useful to you.

As of a couple of weeks ago it has a brand spanking new search algorithm which should make it even more accurate. It also now features contour search (aka Parsons code), so you can search using ups and downs. You can now type in uuuddddsududddd to find Argiers, if that's your kind of thing.

As always, I'm open to comments and suggestions!
